This site has been mainly meant to provide some information through a series of articles from newspapers and a personal consideration concerning a vast subject, as it happens, the work environment. Of course, we can not only talk about it concerning apart from our society. We are all responsible for a part of it. So we have a significant part to play if we seriously want to contribute to the further evolution of our own society; which in spite of the great technological and scientific progress lost a part of its humanity for a lot of people. The social crisis in the work environment illustrates the failure of our modern society directed by a system which seems to be unaware of its limits. The growing interest dedicated to the world economy would justify this keen development; but we should ask for how many people?
It would be necessary to pay more attention for this sensitive matter to understand the real commitment and the social consequences of this economic evolution. A more thorough discussion concerning the subject is certainly not only a political matter. We are all concerned by the debate too because the prosperity of the whole community depends on our own goodwill : a more equitable society implies also a healthier work context too. The situation in this way is relatively alarming but it's not yet too late to act. We can not be unaware of the growing number of victims at work any more : the figures are alarming whereas terrible facts are reported in the media : when somebody dies at work in the performance of his duty for example, it does not cause any reaction any more. The limit seems to be reached. The reactions come tardily but they generate extremely fortunately an awakening at the collective level. Therefore is it very important to resume the dialogue at work as soon as possible; a dialogue which - in the past _ maybe was too frequently brought to silence...
Of course, a considerable number of sites about this wide subject already exist on the Internet. A complete range of facts are also approached on a very varied way and it's mostly exhaustively treated too. So, an abundant literature concerning this wide subject is already available for a large public but what differentiates this website with the other existing sites, rests mainly in the approach of the subject itself. It concerns the personal tale of a 49 year old workman who carried out a hard combat, as a result of an industrial accident 6 years earlier.
